A Vail Valley Colorado family session for the books! If you see a shoot on my blog that wasn’t photographed in Minnesota, there’s a good chance it’s been of these two! We shot a rainy, moody wedding session in Vail Valley in 2016 and this past summer in Bergen, Norway snagged a few more casual photos. First comes love, then comes the wedding photos, then comes the family session (that’s how it works in my head, anyways!) Mike and Katie welcomed beautiful Piper into the world in January and we shot these photos mid-March. We wanted to keep it as simple as possible so we photographed right in their backyard! Yes, this is what backyards look like in Colorado…
Mike, Katie and Piper were all decked out in gorgeous handmade moccasins by Troy at Miles Made Co. Those baby moccasins are a real killer, that’s for dang sure!
