I can’t believe it’s August already! It’s been a hot second since I’ve shared some work on the blog, so I’m going all the way back to May to share Academy of Holy Angel’s senior Mae’s senior photoshoot. Mae had a really specific vision for her session, sending me reference photos of Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid in front of super simple backdrops with gorgeous lighting and effortless class. Mae herself embodies beauty and class herself, so her vision and reality were well paired!
We shot this session in my working studio at the University of Minnesota, where I will wrap up my Masters in Fine Art this year. The studio isn’t a typical photoshoot zone with speedlights and seamless backdrops, but it has great natural light and a few different wall colors to work with, so we kept it simple and made it happen.
