Max, his parents and I met in downtown Buffalo on a sweltering summer evening for his senior photos. The original plan was to shoot the “classics” for an hour, then head to an indoor pool to play around with making some more intense sports images (like these!) Like most senior guys, Max wasn’t SUPER pumped about being photographed for longer than a oh, about a minute. Once we were done in Buffalo I asked what he’d like to be doing most at that very moment. And, friends, wakeboarding was the answer!
Ending a hot summer senior shoot by boating as the sun sets? Definitely not saying no to that! I love that I got to photograph Max in his element, and these photos looked amazing in the leather-bound album that they now have as a keepsake.
