A Picture-Perfect Eau Claire, WI Wedding Day
Oh, what a wedding. This is one of those blog posts where I’m just not sure where to begin – how does one sum up a wedding day brimming with so much love?
James & Courtney initially planned for a 2020 wedding (and we all know how that worked out for so many hopeful brides and grooms) so by the time their rescheduled day arrived in 2021, they were beyond ready to celebrate with their people. Having already tied the knot in Vegas the year before, they chose Hickory Hills Golf Course in Eau Claire, Wisconsin as the venue for their larger celebration. I was delighted to return to Eau Claire for another wedding (my last wedding there was wonderful! AND I got to work with the fabulous Eau Claire florists of Local Blooms again!) We had an absolutely beautiful fall day to work with and I couldn’t have been happier to be there working alongside my second shooter Kevin, and Josh & Sofia of Alma Films.
I’m truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of pure pure love that the entire day was filled with. James and Courtney are without a doubt, 100% made for each other. They’re so obviously each others biggest advocates that you can’t help but feel lucky to know them. I look back through these photos fondly and feel incredibly thankful to have been a witness to such a special day.
