St. Francis Xavier Catholic Wedding, Buffalo MN & Monticello MN
Jesse and Gabrielle got married on a very chilly mid-October day filled with family, friends and faith and it was such a pleasure to be a part of it. From sharing communion with their wedding guests during their ceremony to their first dances, the day was so special!
Gabbie and her bridesmaids looked incredible together, with Gabbie standing out in the midst of the dark blue gowns and fall-toned flowers. Gabbie’s dress and veil had some major personal significance, so I reached out to her to make sure the details were right! She said “My dress was my step grandma Kathy’s dress from her first marriage in 1969 (her first husband passed away and she later married my grandpa Dennis). My veil was originally the very long train from my grandma Kathy’s dress when she married my grandpa Dennis in 1973. Rose Batterman was able to alter both the dress and veil to be more my style and she hit it out of the park.”
The guys kept it classic in black tuxes and hand-made boutonnières. Jesse also incorporated family heirlooms into his ensemble, wearing the watch his dad wore when he married his mom. His wedding band was his grandpa Pat’s, who passed away in 2013.
There are so many ways that I could try to relay how special this day was, but I think Gabbie said it best: “It was everything we had hoped it would be and more. Jesse and I have been together for over 5 years and our wedding day just felt right. It was the culmination of years of planning and work. We are so thankful for the many people and vendors, including Nina, that helped the day go flawlessly. We were happy to have so many family and friends that were able to spend the day with us.”
Here are some of my favorite photos to tell the story of the day!
