Minnesota Backyard Wedding - Rockford, MN Wedding

What a day! Get ready for Rockford, MN backyard wedding goodness!

Rick & Gretchen tied the knot this past Saturday in their backyard in front of their family and friends. The weather vacillated between sunny & 70 and torrential rain, but that didn’t dampen the party one bit! Gretchen put so much planning into the little details of the day and it gave everything just a little more sparkle. A sign above their cupcake and coffee table read “as soon as I saw you, I knew an adventure was going to happen” and that theme carried throughout the whole day. Gretchen has had a life full of globe trotting, but Rick is her new adventure and it was such a pleasure witnessing their love on Saturday!

The show-stopping tree in their backyard was fully lit with twinkle lights (and two chandeliers!) and made a stunning backdrop for their ceremony. I could go on forever, but I think I’ll let the images tell a little of the story.
