Rice Park engagement session in freezing temps? Yes please! Well, maybe not the freezing temps part…but Rice Park in downtown St. Paul, MN was lit up beautifully for Clayton, Meghan and I last weekend and we couldn’t help but take advantage of it! We braved the cold by shooting for a few minutes, then ducking into the nearest entryway to revive our frozen fingers and noses. At one point after sunset, a passerby hollered “it’s way to cold for that stuff!” at us, and we all agreed – but we kept on shooting! Does that make us all crazy? Probably. Even though a session with so much running back and forth isn’t the norm, we came up with some beautiful photos together!
I am so looking forward to photographing Meghan and Clayton’s wedding this June! If we can get great photos while losing feeling in our fingers and toes, imagine the goodness that we’ll be able to create each other in the beautiful summer weather!
