It’s a happy day on the blog! It’s about to snow outside, but I’m revisiting this super sunny senior session (say that 5 times fast!) Meet Buffalo High School senior Grace! I photographed her sister Savannah in 2018, so I was delighted to have the opportunity to shoot another lovely Baer sister! For this session, we hopped around downtown Buffalo, taking advantage of landscaped flowerbeds, occasional shops and the lake at sunset. I’m always really happy to shoot in Buffalo, because it’s one of the best locations for getting a lot of unique textural backgrounds from the quirky buildings in town. On the other hand, I’m able to shoot an entire session that’s more nature-based while being in a city! Grace wanted to prioritize that nature feel, so we didn’t shoot around many buildings and instead looked for great color and texture happening naturally.

Grace chose to commemorate her session by combining some digital files with a beautiful honey-colored leather bound album. Perfection!

Buffalo, I love you. Grace, you nailed it. Here are some of my favorite images from our time together!
