I can’t remember a more beautiful fall day for a wedding than September 28, 2019! Nikki & Riley had the perfect brisk, sunny weather and took full advantage of it with their outdoor ceremony at Owen Park in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
The day began at Davies Student Center on the campus of the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, where the couple met! I loved that they chose a venue so directly tied to the beginning of their relationship! Spending most of the day on campus felt just right. After a whirlwind of stops on a party bus through town (ceremony at Owen Park, stopping by another classic Eau Claire park with a bridge over the river, and a quick photo op at Brothers Bar) the wedding party walked through campus back to Davies for the reception!
There are just some weddings where you immediately feel like you’re totally part of the crew, and this was one of them! Both Nikki and Riley have a really special way of making everyone they meet feel like friends. Through spending the day with them and especially hearing the beautiful toasts about them given by family and friends at the reception, my second shooter and I left feeling so lucky to spend the day surrounded by so much goodness.
